Feel free to drop a comment below! □□ If you're interested in delving deeper into Transformers, there's a 2-minute read below. □ This pursuit is the key to unlocking the profound socio-economic benefits hidden within this unexplored and potentially daunting frontier. □□Īs the melody of AI engulfs every aspect of our lives, let's remember: it's up to us as technologists and business leaders to enforce harmony. □□ Both revolve around fine-tuning, practice, and the relentless quest for harmony. □□Īs I strum my guitar and delve into the realm of Gen-AI, Self-Attention, and the Transformer model, I'm consistently struck by the entwined elegance of music and technology. Fueled by Self-Attention and Transformers, it conjures up entirely novel compositions, mirroring the ingenuity of a musician. My imagination runs wild at times, envisioning crafting an unparalleled guitar masterpiece-a melody unheard by the world! □ □ □ That's the realm of possibility with Gen-AI. □ Just like a skilled jazz guitarist, this model has the prowess to construct more intricate, cohesive creations, vigorously pushing the frontiers of AI's creativity. It's similar to a harmonious jazz band playing in perfect sync. The Transformer learns the essence of sequence context and significance, relying solely on self-attention to focus on distinct segments of the input sequence while consistently making predictions. □ Initially introduced in a groundbreaking 2017 paper by Google titled "Attention is All You Need," these models stand at the zenith of power. My research and study also led me to the Transformer model, famously embodied by GPT models-the true rockstars of AI. Much like my fingers slowly became skilled at intricately connecting and navigating the guitar strings and frets to create melodies, self-attention, or intra-attention, methodically weaves together different positions within a data sequence or sentence, forming a comprehensive representation of the entire sequence. However, as I continued learning, I delved into the concept of Self-Attention in AI. Just as my initial guitar lessons presented challenges, the early AI models such as the Markov Chain, Eliza, and other chatbots designed to simulate conversations with humans struggled to scale and capture intricate patterns. Both fields, though seemingly disparate, resonated with the themes of harmony, precision, and innovation. As I progressed, I couldn't help but draw parallels between the two. And the twins weren't there in the first place.I recently embarked on a dual learning journey: playing the guitar and, more recently, diving deep into Generative AI (Gen-AI). To me and the other fans of the Transformers franchise, REVENGE OF THE FALLEN is not as enjoyable as the first movie ( click here), but it would have been better if it had less crude humour. I'm glad the original G1 actor Frank Welker has returned to voice the Decepticon, Soundwave and Hugo Weaving is still voicing the Decepticon leader, Megatron. I found the latter to be annoyingly racist stereotypes as they both sound and act like two rapping African-American teenagers. Megatron, Devastator's two wrecking balls that looked like a privateīody part, and last but not least, the Autobot twins, Skids and Mudflap. The five things that were not quite right in this film include too muchĪdult comedy, the other Transformer s, s uch as the Arc ee t riplets, which were undeveloped, and the Fallen being an uninteresting and unnecessary replacement for our favourite Decepticon leader, This instalment ended up widely savaged by many critics who weren't too fond of how it was loud, illogical and childish. The writers' strike, which led to the crew trying to complete the sequelĪs best they could. The plot and characterizations lacked energy, weakening the entire movie to the point where it's gotten cheesy. TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN has terrific action andĬGI effects from Industrial Light & Magic and has more good Transformers. Gary Summers and Geoffrey Patterson (Nominated)
